I love hearing about this “small group.” The photo shows five couples, but actually there are six neighborhood couples who meet monthly from house to house for Sunday dinner and pray for their neighbors. They all are from different churches and live in Acton, California. Acton is a rural community just north of the San Fernando Valley. There are around 34 neighbors in their immediate community. Next month, two unbelieving neighborhood couples want to join them. Pray that the Lord moves in their hearts. Shawn and Carla Caldwell, in the center, are long time friends. Wouldn’t it be great if this was going on in every neighborhood around our country? Doesn’t this resemble what was going on in Jerusalem in those early days? (Acts 2:42-47)
