Loving Our Neighbors
“Once again, we had a chance to bring Pastor Lynn Cory from Southern California to Fresno. This time, we decided to have him stay for 4 days, doing seminars for Pastors and church members at 3 different churches. I was struck with Lynn’s simple but profound way of, “Praying, Waiting, Watching, and then Joining what God is doing.”
We have also put together a pilot team of pastors who are intentionally trying to find ways of making this more accessible to their congregants. As a result, of the seminar, a pastor in town shared that, “instead of hosting a Christmas Open House for our church family, we’re inviting our neighbors over.” It will be interesting to see what God does.”
